What is Womb Healing ?

Many people hear the words womb healing and imagine it’s something only for those who are pregnant or trying to conceive. But womb healing is far broader, deeper, and more universal than that.

The womb space, whether you have a physical womb or not, is an energetic centre of creation and deep wisdom. It is often described as the seat of our intuition, our creativity, and our ability to feel safe and rooted in life.
Over time, through stress, trauma, busy lifestyles or simply never pausing to listen, many of us carry tension, old emotions, or a feeling of disconnection in this part of our being.
What Is the 13th Munay‑Ki Rite of the Womb?
The womb healing I share comes through a lineage known as the 13th Munay‑Ki Rite of the Womb. This rite was passed to medicine women in the jungles of Peru and is now shared worldwide by womb keepers/practitioners who have received the rite and are entrusted to pass it on.
It is not a talking therapy or a massage; it is an energetic transmission—a blessing and activation that flows through the practitioner into the receiver. As you sit or lie in a safe, held space, this rite is shared with you to awaken and clear the womb space of fear, pain or heaviness that does not belong to you. It is a remembering of your own creative power and a return to the natural rhythm within.

My Own Healing Experience
When I received the Rite of the Womb myself, it was life‑changing. I had lived for years with discomfort and irregular cycles. After receiving this transmission, I felt my body begin to heal in ways I didn’t expect. My cycles rebalanced, I began to feel in touch with my womb and body in a way I had never experienced before, and the biggest shift of all—I was no longer in pain every lunar cycle. That gift of living without that monthly suffering still brings tears to my eyes, and it’s why I feel so deeply called to pass this rite on to others.
How the Session Works
During a session, you remain fully clothed and comfortable. We begin gently—connecting with the breath, placing hands on the lower belly, and setting an intention.
I weave in somatic movement, gentle free movement or swaying to music, to help the body release tension and signal to your nervous system that it is safe. Science shows that mindful movement and breathwork activate the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering cortisol and calming the body so it can process and integrate emotions more easily.
Then the transmission of the Rite of the Womb is shared. You may feel warmth, tingling, or waves of emotion; you might see images or simply feel deeply peaceful. Sound healing instruments like drums or bowls are often used alongside this to help brainwaves settle into slower rhythms, allowing deeper rest and integration.
Who Is It For?
Womb healing is for anyone who feels drawn to explore this space within themselves. You might resonate if:
You’ve experienced stress, grief, or trauma and want to feel more grounded.
You’ve been through fertility journeys, pregnancy loss, or birth and feel a need to gently reconnect.
You feel creatively blocked, disconnected from your body, or out of touch with your inner voice.
You simply want to feel lighter, more whole, and deeply at home in yourself.
You do not need to know anything about energy work to benefit. You do not even need to have a physical womb, this work honours the energetic womb, the creative centre present in all of us.
How Does It Help?
By creating a safe, sacred space and passing on this rite, your body and energy field can begin to let go of what no longer serves you. Many people leave feeling softer, clearer, and more connected to their own rhythm. In the days and weeks after a session, you might notice a deeper sense of calm, sparks of creativity, or simply more compassion for yourself.
A Personal Invitation
For me, offering the Rite of the Womb is about helping people remember they are more than their minds. When we tend to the womb space—through this beautiful lineage, somatic movement, breath, and sound—we tend to our life force: our ability to create, to nurture, and to feel whole.
If something stirs in you as you read this, you are so welcome to join me in a one‑to‑one session or at one of my day retreats. Together, we’ll step into a space of deep listening, gentle release, and profound renewal.
With love,
Hazel
